The EDIT project

The EDIT project is a project led by a group of yr 10 pupils, who are doing their part to help the world. EDIT stands for Energy Development Initiative Team. As a group we are developing the energy resources within our school and displaying them for everyone to see. They can see how we are doing our bit in saving the planet. The energy trail should be up and running soon, so you can check out all the renewable energy resources.  The energy trail will have 4 stations around school joined by foot prints. The team are working hard to make 4 interesting boards about are 3 renewable technologies; the wind turbine, solar PV panels and solar thermal panels. The EDIT team started at a conference last year where we learnt lots about how our planet is being hurt and we really wanted to change it. So we tried extra hard to get all our renewable energy sources up and running. Now all we want to do is show our community what we are doing, so this energy trail should be a fun thing to look around and see all the money we are saving and the energy we are making.
