Visit by Year 2 and Year 4

On Tuesday 7th June 2011 a selected group of gifted and talented year 2’s and 4’s came to Hounsdown for a science investigation to analyze if the school had put the wind turbine in the right place. Obviously we had, although we had some surprising remarks from year 2’s stating that we should have put the wind turbine on the edge of the field, closer to the trees. Principally the investigation was an overall success with just a spot of rain to bother us. In conclusion, I think it was an awe-inspiring day for both the year 2’s, 4’s and us; as it opened my eyes to the imagination and ideas of the younger mind.
